The TalentEgg National Recruitment Excellence Awards and Conference recognizes egg‑cellent work in Canadian recruitment.

The TalentEgg National Recruitment Excellence Awards and Conference provides an opportunity for employers, accredited universities and colleges, career centres, career educators and coaches to be recognized within the industry and among your peers, and to gather valuable feedback from top students, recent graduates and early career professionals on your recruitment initiatives. The awards are open to all employers who hire college and university students, recent graduates and early career professionals in Canada, all accredited universities or colleges and career centres, and all career educators and coaches.

Award Categories

Categories range from excellence in on-the-job programs to innovation in recruitment marketing. Employers from all industries and from across the country are invited to submit applications in all categories that apply.

Application Process

Applications for the Awards can be found here. Finalists will be notified approximately one month after the application deadline date, and the awards ceremony and official announcement of winners will take place virtually, at The TalentEgg National Recruitment Excellence Awards and Virtual Conference. Employers (or their representatives) are encouraged to apply for all awards that apply to them. Each award category is comprised of a short questionnaire and offers the opportunity to supply supporting material in PDF format. Judging Process

TalentEgg has always been committed to providing employers with the student perspective on-campus recruitment. As such, the student judging panel for the TalentEgg Awards will be comprised of an elite group of students and recent graduates from a wide variety of backgrounds and from across the country. It’s a judging panel comprised of the types of students you strive to hire – top students across programs and industries. TalentEgg and its employees are not involved in judging the Awards. The panel will view all employer submissions, and then rate and comment on each submission. Through this process, they will not only be selecting a winner in each category but will also be providing invaluable feedback for the employers that have submitted entries. The decision of our student judging panel is final, and TalentEgg does not engage with the panel at any time regarding their decisions. After the judging process, the winning and finalist employers in each category will be announced and celebrated at a special awards ceremony and conference to be held virtually.

Is there a cost?

There is no cost to apply. A summary of the feedback provided by top students in the judging process is available for a fee of $100.
